Word on the street is that Wheels & Dollbaby is set to open a boutique in Perth’s most sought-after fashion strip, King Street in Perth City. Designer Melanie Greensmith and her iconic label have been a stable favourite with rock stars and celebrities for years and also have a huge following in her home town of Perth. If Greensmith secures the site she will have fought off major luxury brands to join the likes of Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Subway DC, Empire Rose, Periscope and the rumoured to be opening – Tiffany & Co.

Napoleon's Autumn/Winter 08 Trends

On his recent trip to Australia, Napoleon made a special appearance on the Mornings with Kerri Anne show where he revealed his trend alerts for the Autumn/Winter season.

China Syndrome
Leading up to the Beijing Olympics Napoleon predicts we will see strong Eastern influences emerge, with Geisha-like skin finishes and bold lips.

60′s Inspired Makeup

The 60′s look is making a comeback thanks to Anne Hathaway in the 2008 release of Get Smart. The look is all about well defined eyes, which are made dramatic with liquid or gel eyeliner and feathery boudoir lashes with a matte porcelain skin base.

Bold Lips
Bold lips are back, with lipstick tipped to replace gloss in a big way. Go for red or crayon bright lipsticks. Try DeVine Goddess lipstick in Aphrodite (deep red) for that glamourous red carpet look.

Navy Nails
Following Chanel’s trend debut on the US Spring Catwalks, shades of navy, midnight blue and indigo are officially the new chic replacement for black nails.

Jessica Kagan Cushman was taught the art of scrimshaw – the 19th century bone-carving craft by her father. After Chanel allegedly copied her unique bangles Jessica soon after designed her ‘Ripped off by Chanel’ bangle which became popular with celebrities such as Fergie and Hilary Duff.
