Mecca Cosmetica has just launched the controversial new fragrance collection, titled Etat Libre D’Orange. Its meaning translates to ‘Free State of Orange’ which is the liberal state where its creator, Etienne De Swardt grew up.
The Libre D’Orange collection pushes conventional boundaries and appeals to the wearer who wants to stand out from the otherwise feminine and floral-based scents on the market. These perfumes are a raw and evocative interpretation of the elements they are named after. Look out for fragrances such as Jasmine & Cigarettes, Delicious Closet Queen, Real Blonde and the risqué scent, Magnificent Secretions….we’ll leave that one to the imagination.
