Bringing you a decadent, black tie evening of fashion and extravagance, as it maintains its objective of fostering creativity within the market.
As the major fundraising event of the WA AIDS Council, STYLEAID is vital to the success of this organization whose services strengthen our community’s health and quality of life of those affected by HIV/AIDS.
WAToday.com.au, the WA AIDS Council, and the STYLEAID Committee are honoured to introduce the 18 designer collections set to grace the 2011 STYLEAID Opulent runway. WA designers are once again the prominent feature of the STYLEAID parade, with this year seeing the introduction of international designer collections.
Both Zekka and Dilettante, well known for their extensive international designer ranges, will present collections from their retail outlets.
STYLEAID Opulent takes pride in announcing the Australian debut of Vivienne Westwood. Perth retailer Dilettante, in conjunction with Vivienne Westwood will emerge on the STYLEAID catwalk, and feature styles from the gold label and Westwood man collections.
Zekka’s inaugural inception into STYLEAID will feature S/S 11 collections by internationally renowned designers Ann Demeulemeester, Haider Ackermann and Rick Owens. Zekka will present some of the most progressive and pivotal collections in contemporary design.
Western Australian and national designers, Aurelio Costarella, Daniella Caputi, Garth Cook, Jamie Lee, Flannel and Morrison, will delight guests as they showcase their latest Spring/Summer collections direct from Rosemount Australian Fashion Week
WA designers ae’lkemi, Empire Rose, Fenella Peacock, One Fell Swoop and United Constructions will accompany Zsadar and WA Swimwear label Dhufish, as they both debut their new runway collections.
Winner of the STYLEAID ABSOLUT Creative Designer Award, Shelly Tindale, who received $5,000 from ABSOLUT to further develop her label and will showcase her first collection in front of 750 of Perth’s elite.
